Based on the fundamental sustainability principles of context, community and preservation, Chelsea Creek's many sustainability principles were retained and served as the fundamental planning principles for all future residential projects in the Chelsea Master Plan.
Project Description
Acquired in 2007, the approved project has 227 units combining residential, village commercial and low density multi-residential uses for a total of 4 units per acre. With over 40% of the fields and forest portion of the site protected, Chelsea Creek is an important contributor of green space and parkland preservation to the Chelsea Trails network.
